Brigita Kasperaitė

Brigita Kasperaitė (b. Kaunas, Lithuania) is a Lithuanian artist and filmmaker whose work emerges from a deep imagination and close observation of the contemporary condition. Her works encounter the viewer through poetic yet compelling gestures, employing moving image, sculptural objects, text, as well as performative actions and installations. By raising questions about our everyday visual culture, its codes, and its influence on the imagination, she explores contemporary worldviews, tracing their parallels and transformations across time.
