Brigita Kasperaitė

Brigita Kasperaitė (b. Kaunas, Lithuania) is a Lithuanian artist whose practice intertwines research, imagination, and sensory experience.

In her work, she explores myths shaped by both ancient and contemporary worldviews, tracing their parallels and transformations across time. By questioning the codes of our everyday visual culture, she constructs immersive artworks out of imagined formations - spaces in which she greets the viewer with gestures that are at once soothing and insistent, inviting a critical and poetic reconsideration of individually perceived reality.

Her practice spans a variety of media, including text, photography, video, performative actions, and installations. Through these forms, she navigates the shifting terrain between collective memory and personal perception, often weaving together elements that appear both familiar and otherworldly.
